01 - 1 (24 oz) bag frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
02 - 1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey), casing removed
03 - 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
04 - ½ cup diced red bell pepper

06 - 1 cup whole milk
07 - 6 large eggs
08 - 1 tsp salt
09 - ½ tsp black pepper
10 - ½ tsp garlic powder

# Method:
01 - Heat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish using olive oil or melted butter.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, brown and crumble the breakfast sausage for 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
03 - In a large bowl, mix thawed hash browns, cooked sausage, diced red bell pepper, green onions, and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese until evenly combined.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, whole milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until smooth.
05 - Pour the egg mixture over the hash brown mixture and stir thoroughly to coat all ingredients.
06 - Transfer the combined mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese on top.
