# Method:
01 - In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy.
02 - Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly until combined.
03 - Sift in the flour and salt, then gently mix until a smooth dough forms.
04 - Shape the dough into a disk, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
05 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
06 - On a lightly floured surface, roll the chilled dough to approximately 1/5 inch thickness.
07 - Use angel-shaped cookie cutters to cut biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
08 - Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until edges turn lightly golden. Remove and cool completely on racks.
09 - Once cooled, decorate with royal icing, edible pearls, sprinkles, or glitter as preferred. Allow icing to set before serving or storing.
